ABOUT Tamara Meeks is a pleasure horse trainer with 35 years of experience showing, training and teaching both youth and adult riders.She recently returned to Nevada county from Brooksville, Florida where she and her late husband, Ben Martin owned and operated their training facility, Lone Palm Stables, since 1996. Many of their former students have competed at the national and world levels with Quarter horses, Appaloosas, Arabians and the International Buckskin Championship shows. Tamara’s objective is to support you in building a relationship based on positive communication and trust between you and your horse. Whether it be on the trail or in the show ring, her knowledge and experience will give you the confidence to take the next step as a rider and/or to advance your horse to a new level of performance.
